At CVBC we do not see missions as a program but as a calling. God has gifted each believer for his or her part in fulfilling the Great Commission of our Lord to go spread the Gospel to every person (Mt. 28:18). By this we seek to reach our community, our state, our nation, and the world with the message and love of God.

We endeavor to support local ministries that provide both evangelistic outreach and benevolent help to individuals in our community and regionally. This includes support of a local women’s shelter and a counseling center. Our church facility also houses the Adult Life Programs for adults in need of daily care in our community. We also support The Corner Table a local soup kitchen.
But one of the great ways we enjoy reaching out is through hosting different events for the community. It is a time of great fun and a wonderful opportunity for us to get to know everyone and reach out to them in the name of Jesus.

Through our partnership with the Cooperative Program of the SBC we are able to join our gifts and resources for ministries around our nation and around the world.

We also support annual evangelistic mission trips, as well as trips to help provide for needy families in West Virginia.
